Lake Placid Farmers’ Market
Wednesdays 9 am — 1 pm / July - August
The Lake Placid Farmers Market brings together local farmers, food producers, and artisans in the heart of Lake Placid, offering fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, prepared foods, and handmade crafts. Visitors can explore a wide variety of locally grown and made products while connecting directly with the people who create them. The market fosters a lively community atmosphere and celebrates the best of Adirondack flavors and creativity.
Remember! Vendors are busy setting up prior to 9am. No early birds please, vendors are not able to sell to the public before the 9am. Also, we love our market dogs but there are no dogs allowed. Please help us respect the rules and policies of the Lake Placid Central School District, we are a guest on their property.
Parking info: Convenient parking makes visiting the Lake Placid Farmers Market easy. On-street parking is available on Main Street and nearby side streets, typically just a short walk from the market. In addition, several municipal parking lots provide safe and accessible spaces:
Main Street Lot – approximately a 3-minute walk to the market
School Street Lot – about a 5-minute walk
Mirror Lake Drive Lot – roughly 5–7 minutes on foot
Time limits apply to some downtown spaces, so be sure to check posted signage. Lake Placid is highly walkable, so even lots slightly further from the market are convenient for carrying purchases and enjoying the downtown area.
Whether you’re shopping for seasonal produce, handmade goods, or just soaking in the vibrant community energy, the Lake Placid Farmers Market is a great way to access local foods and support Adirondack farms and artisans.
